Here is the next in my HEROES series:
Although I really do admire the character “Aragorn” portrayed in the LOTR movies by Viggo Mortensen, my real hero here is J. R. R. Tolkien. I was reading “The Hobbit” and LOTR when I was about 12 years old (way to many years ago) and fell in love with it then. I ended up reading them all about 5 times in Jr. High and several more times in High School. I admired the imagination, writing style, and values of Tolkien and those values and his exemplary imagination were big factors for me growing up.
I did this drawing a little rougher and perhaps rushed it just a bit. I have a lot on my plate right now and I actually got a little sleep last night so pardon the non-polished look.
